چکیده

The OntoLex W3C Community Group published its final report on the Lexicon Model for Ontologies (lemon) in May 2016, specifying a suite of vocabularies for the linguistic grounding of ontologies and RDF datasets in general. The Linguistic Metadata (LIME) vocabulary is the lemon module describing coarse-grained metadata about datasets as a whole, to represent resuming information at the level of ontology-lexicon interface. The purpose of this metadata is to support the understanding and exploitation of available lexical material, and in the first place to facilitate the discovery of datasets that may be of interest. Towards the realization of that vision, we propose an API that supports the manipulation of LIME metadata, as well as its automatic generation by means of a profiler. We discuss the architecture of the API, as well as the main design decisions, which can inform the development of APIs for other vocabularies.

LIME: Towards a Metadata Module for OntoLex

The OntoLex W3C Community Group has been working for more than a year on realizing a proposal for a standard ontology lexicon model. As the corespecification of the model is almost complete, the group started development of additional modules for specific tasks and use cases. We think that in many usage scenarios (e.g. linguistic enrichment, localization and alignment of ontologies) the discove...

LIME: The Metadata Module for OntoLex

The OntoLex W3C Community Group has been working for more than three years on a shared lexicon model for ontologies, called lemon. The lemon model consists of a core model that is complemented by a number of modules accounting for specific aspects in the modeling of lexical information within ontologies. In many usage scenarios, the discovery and exploitation of linguistically grounded ontologi...

Proposing an OntoLex-MMoOn Alignment: Towards an Interconnection of two Linguistic Domain Models

This paper motivates and proposes to align the OntoLex and MMoOn Core models. It deals in particular with the ontolex and decomp modules and their potential as ontological foundation to represent the domain of morphological language data (MLD). It will be argued that ontolex and decomp provide only a basic modelling of the domain, which is not sufficient for representing fine-grained MLD, but s...

Spatio-temporal variability of aerosol characteristics in Iran using remotely sensed datasets

The present study is the first attempt to examine temporal and spatial characteristics of aerosol properties and classify their modes over Iran. The data used in this study include the records of Aerosol Optical Depth (AOD) and Angstrom Exponent (AE) from MODerate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) and Aerosol Index (AI) from the Ozone Monitoring Instrument (OMI), obtained from 2005 t...

From Language Documentation Data to LLOD: A Case Study in Turkic Lemon Dictionaries

In this paper, we describe the Lemon-OntoLex modeling of dictionaries created within language documentation efforts. We focus on exemplary resources for two less-resourced languages from the Turkic language family, Chalkan and Tuvan. Both datasets have been conveted into a Linked Data representation using the Lemon-OntoLex data model, with an extensible converter written in Python. We compare t...
